I lived in Houston Texas When Stevie was killed. There was a lot of local coverage so I recorded as much as I could.
The first time I saw Stevie Ray was In 1981. A friend of mine said that there was a really good guitar player from Austin at Fitzgerald's that night, and that we should go check him out. We did go check him out, and because we got there early we got a table that was pushed up against the middle of the stage wall. Needless to say, it was an unforgettable experience, and one I've told many times. I was a huge fan, and it is only with great sadness that I am posting this footage.
