DESCRIPTION:
For this Artiphon Beat, we took our music-making to the streets of downtown Nashville!

We start off with some simple finger-drumming. This looping effect can easily be created using GarageBand or Logic.

The chords are triggered using Smart Strum. This new feature isn't just for playing simple cover songs, it's a whole new way to access synths and other software instruments. One finger on any fret gives you six notes to strum or pluck. Notice how we use the INSTRUMENT 1's Tilt function to control tremolo and stereo panning.

Our melody is played using a slide technique and a monophonic synth sound.
