DESCRIPTION:
"Arrogant Grace" is a Film by Alexander Kirwood, an RMIT Fashion student in Melbourne, Australia. I thought there is no better way to launch my new project (Tabula Rasa) than with an amazing film made by one of my childhood friends. Enjoy.
"Enforcing the concept that beauty in movement transcends social perception of identity, demographic and cultural status, Arrogant Grace explores the fluid interplay between two dynamic worlds. Combining elements of traditional skate cinematography and fashion film, it highlights the need for democratic representation of fashion in film, emphasising that fashion is not reserved for any single social class."

Tabula Rasa Biography 2015:

Tabula Rasa is a fresh down-tempo and experimental project from one of Australia's most innovative rising producers. One half of the Drum & Bass duo - " Okuli ", and previously releasing Glitch Hop under the pseudonym " Schwarr ", this young talent has already made a significant imprint on electronic music both in Australia and abroad, having already toured North America in 2014 with a huge response.

An accumulation of years of learning and an obsession with production, these frequencies delve into harmonious composition and technical precision in a way that will take the listener to far away places. Tabula Rasa's music incorporates elements of everything from Dub, Glitch and Breaks to Classical, Jazz and Funk. These eclectic tunes are destined to mesmerise in endless ways.

Taking the meaning of the name literally, Tabula Rasa is a sonic expression of the knowledge that comes from experience and perception. The theme is a constant throughout the project, and is reflected both by the producer and those that hear his music.
