After recording the songbooks of Burt Bacharach, Michel Legrand and George & Ira Gershwin, accompanied by Rogier van Otterloo's orchestra, Rita returned to the classic American Songbook repertoire in 1979, recording this album with the trio ft. Griffin on tenor saxophone.
