Rick Carlson composed this delightful number as a birthday present for his friend, Henry Blackburn, who actually is a preacher's kid. Henry sat out and got to enjoy the tribute as Rick performed it at the Dakota Jazz Club in downtown Minneapolis, July 12, 2015, with Southside Aces Tony Balluff on clarinet and Robert Bell on guitar, plus Josh Granowski on bass. Thank you, Rick! It's so much better than a gift card to the Olive Garden!
