DESCRIPTION:
Sviatoslav Richter playing Beethoven's Piano Sonata no. 32, op. 111, live in Moscow on 12 January 1975. This recital was played in memory of Richter's teacher, Heinrich Neuhaus. At the start, Dmitri Zhuravlyov comments on Neuhaus's love of Mann's Faust, this sonata, and Richter's interpretation of it. This is the best quality available. Timing below:
