Pickin' the Guitar Beppe Gambetta & Riccardo Barbera 2011 - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 12, 2011
DESCRIPTION:
Pickin' the Guitar is the first ever guitar music recorded in history. The original session took place in the Usa in 1922 and Nick Lucas was the guitarist.
Nick Lucas was born Dominic Lucanese and was second generation Italian from Molise region.
Beppe Gambetta is a well known Italian guitarist, player, composer, whose main instrument is Flatpicking guitar. Riccardo Barbera plays here the contrabass and he also is a music composer. Both of them are from Genova.

The concert took place in Rome, Cappella Paolina del Quirinale, meaning the inner chapel of the Presidential palace. Here's one of the songs the duo performed in this 11 December 2011 Live Concert. Maybe others will follow.

My recording: Mac Mini 2011 with Lion, Radium app, HiJack Pro app, moderate use of 10 channel Equalizer, Exciter and Reverb effects presettings. Original track is in AIFF, 16 Bit, 44.400 Hz.
The recording is "as is", no postproduction was made.

NOTE: due to a peculiar placement of the microphones you better turn left a bit your balance switch.
