I was born in Portugal in 1981and Ive been playing guitar since I was 13. Started by playing in some Rock bands at the age of 15. During the next 7 years I played with a various bands, from Rock to Jazz , by the names of : Summer of Damien (Alternative Metal), Micky Eight (Punk Pop Rock), Skamioneta do Lixo( Ska), Fresh Quartet (Jazz), Also Studied Guitar in 2 different schools, "Crescendo Centro Musical" with Luis Arantes, Hot Club de Portugal with Pedro Madaleno, André Fernandes, Vasco Agostinho, Nuno Ferreira, Pedro e João Moreira e Nelson Cascais, and trombone at Conservatorio Nacional em Lisboa with Hermenegildo Campos. At the Age of 22, I moved to Netherlands and graduated from Royal Conservatoire, Den Haag, in 2007. During my stay in Holland I studyed with musicians such as Martijn Van Iterson, Wim Bronnenberg, Eef Albers, Peter Nieuwerf and Hein Van de Geyn. Also participated in workshops with Kurt Rosenwinkel, Billy Hart, Christoph Cech and Harry Sokal. I Also had the opportunity to create bands with musicians from other countrys: Soupe du jour with Matthew Berrill( Irland), Daniel Lottesberger( Austria) and João Lobo( Portugal) and Equal Four with Desiderio Lazaro(PT), Santiago Botero( Colombia) and Rui Pereira( PT). Getting back from Netherlands I joined Primitive Reason and Recorded en EP "Cast the Way". At the same time started to play with Trisonte ( Alternative Jazz) in a couple of clubs and festivals.
