DESCRIPTION:
This first new song in over 25 years by San Jose punk icons Ribzy was recorded in 2012 for an ill fated compilation project that was to include other San Jose punk bands Executioner, Vacant Churches and Joe Q Citizen, all performing original songs written about the historic lynching that took place in St James Park in 1933. The lynchings were in response to the killing of young Brooke Hart.

IN MOB WE TRUST
I heard in on the radio
a picnic in the park's the place to go
we have all the proof we need
a simple case of complex greed
surfaced in the sands of Alviso
His crab eaten body badly decayed
was found in the San Francisco bay
kidnapped more than two weeks before
from the parking lot of his his family's store
killed before the ransom was paid
I heard them doors breaking down
then I saw two men hanging 'round
strung up for all the world to see
get your souvenir cork from the gallows tree
St James became an infirmary
How can we trust this
vigilante justice?
In mob we trust!
