DESCRIPTION:
Starting this liquid drum & bass mix off with the chilled and steppy "Squelch" by El Hoapness, out now on Urban Wildlife. Following up with the interesting "Apnoe" by Inmachineswetrust, currently a free download on Modular Carnage Recordings. The brilliant 'Limbo III" is available to download from Shryne Music absolutely free, a gift from them for reaching 200 followers, congratulations to those guys! The mix really begins to heat up at 10:20, Nuvertal's aptly titled "Melting Ball of Joy" is available now on Live History Recordings. Next up we have the gorgeous "Frost" by Bert H, Monrroe & High & Sick. Patient's "The 3rd Floor" glides in at 15:12, a beautiful piece that's also available for absolutely free. DJ Ransome has been on fire recently, this mix features "Music Maker" and "Fresh Air" which are both absolutely brilliant rhythms. Speaking of rhythms, "Too Funky" by Soul Intent is a stinking rhythm, not what I would usually consider "liquid", but it's brilliant thus illogical to leave it out, and it set up the way for the two Marcus Intlex tracks which followed up, which finally brings me to mentioning the older pieces, "Redan" was on a white label test press alongside a Tokyo Prose track which came out 5 years ago back in 2012, and the sensational "Out Of Touch" which still stands as one of my favourite pieces, was released 12 years ago back in 2005, and "Down On You" by Calibre and "Love & Faith" by Command Strange were both released over the course of 2016.
