Only one year has passed since Paramida and Katovl Menovsky hosted the first Fin de Siècle party. With a strong focus on both international flair and musical diversity FIN DE SIÈCLE soon made it's name throughout the borders of Berlin.
The first birthday party and fifth edition of FIN DE SIÈCLE takes place at Salon Zur Wilden Renate.
The night time part of the lineup constitutes of debuting artists like LEE DOUGLAS (ESP INSTITUTE/DFA) and HANNAH HAMMOND (Manchester) as well as friends of Fin de Siècle such as SOFT ROCKS (Brighton), ANA HELDER (Cómeme) & C.A. RAMIREZ ( Sin & Soul), LENA WILLIKENS (Cómeme) and the over-versatile RAFAEL POSTPISCHIL (Fin de Siècle).
Following the traditions of a typical Berlin's birthday ceremony the games will be played for 24 hours. After a delightful club night full of rocking House, Disco, Technopsych, Acid, Afro, Italo and probably some Cumbia the sounds will be brought to the magical Renate garden. A funky balearo-cosmic lead from originators K-MEN and FRITZ FOR FUNK will welcome the day of joy in the early morning with a very special back-to-back twister.
EMIL DOESN'T DRIVE and CHEERS CHRIS are bringing it on to take us on a deep space journey to the dusty times when the likes of Disco and House caused sweat and tears. And what could fit better in a laid back afternoon setting than DUFF DISCO hitting the veins with a heart beating Slomo Disco set? Fasten it up little by little NANO NANSEN and THE RIMSHOOTERS come around with the ultimate grooves from Chicago to Sao Paolo and back to New York. Finally Fin de Siècle's one and only PARAMIDA will blast everyone's minds with happy music for happy people.
