This is the first single from Renee-Louise Carafice's "I Will Raise a Bird Army".
This song was written as a response to Xiu Xiu's "Fast Car", which is, in turn, a Tracy Chapman cover.
"I listened to the lyrics and realized I really was that character. I was working at a supermarket. My man had let me down and I was down and out. It's a song about lost causes."
This video was recorded on the fly by Pizza Friends, using a tiny $10 digital camera bought at a yard sale.
"I Will Raise a Bird Army" will be available in Sept of 2010.
