DESCRIPTION:
As a follow up to our video last year, Ford demos Sonor 12" toms. All are tuned nearly identical. All sound nearly identical. It's geometry, physics, and tuning folks. Close your eyes and tell us what the shell is made of. Don't think you'd be able to. A good drum, one with a thicker shell, the right bearing edge and one that is reflective within, will give you greater tuning range and projection. But, from a sound characteristic, size matters, not shell material.
