Intensely influenced by Gospel, R&B, Jazz, Soul music, and The Blues. He combines it all with the music of his heart, Hip-Hop, to make unbelievable music, that can touch your heart, make you dance, or just bob your head until it falls off. Born in Columbus, Ohio, he is with out a doubt a Mansfield Ohioan to the fullest. His extensive Hip-Hop CD collection is proof positive that he is a hardcore beat & rhyme lover, without question! In his eyes there is only one form of Hip-Hop, and he stresses that to those who think, that if you have a beat and can rap, does not make you a Hip-Hop artist.
He brings the fundamentals and talent of a born drummer to the MPC 2000. His style is polished with jazzy melodies, crisp snares, and hard hitting break beats, that lace each and every product that he putts out. Ree-Dic has studied producers such as Eric Serman of the legends EPMD, or Def Squad, Jay Dilla previously of Slum Village, Rza of the Wu-Tang Clan, Pete Rock of Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth, and his all time favorite Dj Premier of Gang Starr. Taking different bitts and pieces, from each to put together his own creative sound, that is definitely unique in its own right.
Ree-Dic has been all over the U.S. performing with his high school band, college prep band and his most traveled with, church choir, in which brought him the opportunity to play on the same stage as Yolonda Adams. He works hard for musical perfection, in which he is his own worst critic. Ree-Dic is labeled as one of the best beat makers in Ohio along with Dj Hi-Tek. Destined to be heard all over the world, and that day is soon to come, with as much success as his musical for fathers. Self named as break beat fanatic, along with his digging in the crate mentality, that cannot be stopped, and whose versatility, will put him amongst the best beat makers of our time.
