"I've Got The World on a String" written in 1932 by Harold Arlen and Ted Koehler for the 1932 Cotton Club Parade was recorded by Frank Sinatra on April 30, 1953 during his second recording session at Capitol Records and his first collaboration with Nelson Riddle as arranger and conductor. It was released as a single, reaching #14 on Billboard's most played list and was included in the album, This Is Sinatra!, released in 1956. The album is available as an import CD on PID and as part of The Capitol Years 21 disc box set. The track also appears on the box set The Complete Capitol Singles Collection .
