DESCRIPTION: DJ, vocalist and producer Marc Weiser founded the two-member experimental techno group Rechenzentrum in the late 1990s, along with design artist Lillevan (who typically provided album artwork and visuals for live shows). Rechenzentrum's eponymous debut found them remixing tracks by Laub, Tarwater and Elektronauten; it premiered in 2000 to strong sales and an enthusiastic reception, while two follow-ups, The John Peel Session and Director's Cut, also drew substantial acclaim. Rechenzetrum headlines the live performance film Rechenzentrum: Silence, in which Weiser performs new compositions, set to new artwork by Lillevan. The aural and visual material on hand is collectively inspired by the icon paintings of Andrei Rublev. - uploaded via http://www.mp32u.net/
