Jihad Is "On The

Last
August we introduced you to the up and coming Cerritos, CA artist Jihad.
The man, who's artist name has nothing to do with the holy war, teamed up with DJ
Warrior and DJ Nutty last year for his debut mixtape entitled Death
Before Dishonor," a release many of you will have seen advertised on
dubcnn.
Jihad, who defeated BET's Freestyle Friday Hall of Famer and Ruff Ryder
signee Jin The MC, also leaked two tracks to us from that mixtape at the
time; "Crash" and a track with Eastwood, Cross & Cook
called "Nigga Datz Hood." [see; Jihad

Today we are back with the news that the Rebellion Records MC was recently
featured in The Source magazine's "On The Radar" section, a
section that recently featured Pacific
Division, to let the world know a little about him and what he is
currently working on.

Jihad Readies Sophomore
Mixtape With DJ Warrior - July 18, 2007 By : Rud
Its
almost a year since we first introduced you to the Cerritos, CA talent Jihad,
the man who linked up with DJ Warrior and DJ Nutty last year for
his debut mixtape; "Death Before Dishonor," which received
widespread acclaim with a spot on MTV's Mixtape Mondays and in The Source
Magazine.



In his career so far Jihad has defeated BET's Freestyle Friday Hall of
Famer and Ruff Ryder signee Jin The MC as well as being featured in The
Source Magazine as their On
The Radar MC in March.



Today we are back with news of Jihad's highly anticpated sophomore
mixtape release again put together by DJ Warrior. This release is set to
be entitled "93' Fly" and enlists the help of DJ Envy &
DJ Arkane with hosting duties being filled by Shady Records' Cashis.
"93' Fly" will include guest appearences by artists including Cashis,
Jayo Felony, Tri-Star, Marc Spitz, Duke Riddles, Tracey Lane, Diamyn &
Bellywize with production from Swizz Beats, J. Classic, Pakman, Beat
Masta Wes, Lou Dog, Harry Sona/Trailblazerz, JRK, Big 4D, Shizz Beatz, Khalil
Ansari & Shadowville Productions.



With the new mixtape currently being finalised and mixed down Jihad
wanted us to refresh readers memories with a cut that featured on "Death
Before Dishonor" entitled "Live Your Life" produced by
Khalil Ansari, you can download the track below.
