Dub Pistols is the sensational headline act for the 7th Alresford Music Festival on 11th June.
The reggae-breaks-jungle mashup and gangster-swaggering festival favourite is arguably the biggest act we have ever signed as headliners. Spanning an 18 year career in music Dub Pistols has worked with heroes like The Specials, Madness, Busta Rhymes and Gregory Isaacs.
Front man Barry Ashworth started the band because he loved the Happy Mondays – and never looked back, morphing the band into a mighty reggaematic bass-driven, super-tight live machine that has steadily won fans from Glastonbury to Bestival and across Europe. The Happy Mondays tweeted recently that the Dub Pistols were the best live band they’d seen in years.
With over 25 other acts to be announced soon our annual ‘Party in the Park’ is planned to be bigger and better than ever in 2016.
