Levere Memorial Temple - Video

DESCRIPTION:
This video offers a glimpse of the 29-year-old Rodgers Hybrid Organ installed at the Levere Memorial Temple in Evanston, IL. This is the National Headquarters of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) Fraternity. We are thrilled to acquaint you with several images of this spectacular building with its amazing Tiffany windows and murals (which took over a decade to complete). The SAE Fraternity was founded prior to the Civil War...the commemorative "Peace Window" at the front of the chapel shows Christ blessing a Union and Confederate Soldier.

While our firm is frequently replacing other brands of digital organs built from 1984 to 1989, this 1984 Rodgers installation is doing quite well. Even though the pipework was damaged by a former curator, Triune Music Voicer, Mark Austin (former curator of organs for the Eastman School of Music), raised the wind pressures and re-voiced this entire instrument.

How long does a Rodgers Organ last? This one sounds even better now than it did 29-years ago. Kudos to Levere Memorial Temple for allowing Triune Music the opportunity to improve this beautiful instrument in that magnificent room!
