In this new episode of Dubspot's Wireless series, educator, composer, and producer Raz Mesinai (formerly known as Badawi) talks with rising Brooklyn-based electronic music producer and musician Daniel Martin-McCormick who is a member of indie dancepunk band Mi Ami. Martin-McCormick has released solo work as Sex Worker and Ital on 100% Silk and Not Not Fun imprints. Earlier this year, he released his debut album as Ital titled Hive Mind on Planet Mu. His conversation with Raz ranges from influences which includes Black Flag, Fugazi, and Bad Brains to electronic music production tips and techniques to the problems with MIDI and the invasion of NYC by guitar players and indie rock bands.
