DESCRIPTION:
New York-based hardcore punk band Warthog return with their 3rd proper 7" EP on Beach Impediment Records. I will always stand by that Warthog is one of the best live bands I've ever seen in hardcore currently playing. Compared to their peers in other NY punk bands, Warthog has less of an art school vibe and come off as more brutish, like their goal is to absolutely pummel the crowd. Personally, I felt their previous EPs didn't really do them justice. But with this new eponymous 7", I feel that Warthog has come out with a recording that captures the sonic power of the band. These 4 tracks are seriously devastating.
