After a few dates with his friend John Parish, Raphelson lead singer of Magicrays recorded late 2006 his debut album "Hold this moment still".
Following a tour of more than fifty dates in Europe, he takes part in the Montreux Jazz Festival with Fauve and the Lausanne Sinfonietta, together with prestigious guest friends (John Parish, Sophie Hunger, Erik Truffaz.) for a magical evening immortalized with the release of the very beautiful CD/DVD "An evening at the Montreux Jazz Festival 2007"
End of 2007, Raphelson worked on the project "Les Bandes Musicales", playing live music on the 1929 silent film by Jean Epstein "The fall of the house of Usher".
Early 2008 Raphelson participated with "Starbox" in the superb Micha Lewinsky "Der Freund" film, who won the prize for best film at the Solothurn Film Festival.
Raphelson has also published a handful of unpublished tracks for independent structures such as "Starling birds" for the Pets series and "The More The Merrier" for the Lofidogma.
Currently immersed in the preparation of his second album, "The Devil Danced"is featured in an acoustic version on the successful short film "Schonzeit" of Irene Ledermann and in a fuller version on the compilation "Bon pour les oreilles".
