This song is written by a chinese community (次世代动漫社). It's one of the songs they released. Lady Meng Jiang is actually a Chinese tale. In mythology, Lady Meng Jiang's husband was pressed into service and sent as labor to build the Great Wall. For a long time, Lady Meng Jiang heard nothing after her husband departure, therefore she decided to bring some winter clothes for her husband. Sadly, by the time she reached the Great Wall, her husband had already died and the body was buried under the Great Wall. She wept so bitterly when she heard the bad news. After she found her husband's body in a pile of bones, she commit suicide herself by drowning.

Haha, I don't know why but this song reminds me another song which is Seasonal Feathers.(四季折の羽）That song is also very beautiful, however the story is pretty sad.
