DESCRIPTION:
The melody of this hymn is based on an ancient Jewish melody. It has been suggested that Christ himself would have, more than likely, sung this melody. Here I improvise the hymn on the Rodgers 835 organ with pipes in the Wesley United Methodist Church, Rochester, NY. (Just a footnote, all the stops used in this selection are digital, the pipe ranks were NOT used.)
