Randy Soul Roberts

Since when he was born,Randy Roberts has been always in touch with music,because of his father,a popular singer in Italy,in France and around Europe in the 60's,Rocky Roberts! Randy started to sing in the early 90's with a dynamic soul group called The Seventies soul band.As it used to say,He rises from the ranks doing a lot of shows,learning the art of entertainment (and he knows how to do that!) and having some wonderful collaborations with some of the most important singers in Italy and afterwards in Europe,above all,Phil Collins and Craig David as background singer and Corona as a composer/arranger.Before that,Randy has the great opportunity to partecipate to the most important italian music festival"Festival di Sanremo" in 1997 and he had a lot of opportunities by that,travelling in the United States and the Latin America.He lends his voice for some commercials in Italy and Dominican republic,he writes soundtracks for commercials,jingles and last but not least he writes songs for dance productions and for other artists.Now He's preparing his own project that will bring him back to the roots of his carrier.



Nasce da madre italiana e padre americano (U.S.A.), conosciuto in Italia come Rocky Roberts, diventato famoso negli anni sessanta con "Stasera mi butto" e "Sono tremendo".
Ricalcando le orme del padre nella musica soul, da vita a "Randy Roberts e la 70's soul band", con la quale inizia la sua carriera live.Nel frattempo cominciano già le collaborazioni in studio con tanti artisti tra cui Corona come corista/arrangiatore e moltissime collaborazioni live,tra cui:Herbie Goins,Gegè Telesforo,l'orchestra di Demo Morselli,etc.
Nel 1996 Claudio Mattone si innamora della vitalità e dell'energia che Randy trasmette quando canta, così lo chiama per entrare a far parte del suo entourage,nel quale già spiccavano nomi del calibro di Syria e Neri per caso. Partecipa a "Sanremo giovani",con la cover di una canzone di Nino Bonocore "Rosanna". L'anno successivo partecipa al "Festival di Sanremo" con la canzone di Claudio Mattone "No stop". Esce il disco "half'n'half".
Si aprono le porte internazionali per Randy che viaggerà e si esibirà in America Latina e Stati Uniti.Al suo ritorno altre collaborazioni più o meno importanti:Irene Grandi,Adika Pongo,Mike Francis,Raf,etc.
Poi,avrà la fortuna di fare da corista a Craig David e successivamente a Phil Collins.
Presta la voce per alcuni spot Pubblicitari,compone e realizza sigle televisive e non ultimo scrive e canta alcune dance hits nel panorama europeo.
Attualmente sta preparando il suo nuovo progetto.
