“The Good Old Hoʻomalimali E” was written in 1946 by Harry Leff and the music was put together by Alvin Kaleolani Isaacs.  Alvin Isaacs was one of the most popular singers during this time.

Raiatea shared the following: “I first heard this song on Territorial Airwaves, a show that Harry B. Soria produced on his website.  I really enjoy the melody and the uplifting feel that the instruments bring out.  Songs like these are rarely sung, so that’s one of the reasons why I chose to record it.  To showcase a different side of the Hapa Haole era.”
