This was my first, semi-earnest attempt at 3D animation, starting off with only one idea which was that the video would principally feature a sparrow that was radioactive.
In the tradition of senselessness which has permeating the art form of the pop video for several decades, the imagery is unrelated to the content of the song's lyrics. For an early, yet potent and strangely poignant paradigmof this trend please see 'John Travolta - Sandy' (from the film Grease) which features a performing, animated sausage.
