Try my patented (not really) 64 furnace industrial smelter with no (moving) minecarts. Designed to be powered by the stick output of a witch farm. Dump those sticks in the water stream (and probably pick up the ones that aren't used to save for later). Can smelt 384 stacks of items (over 7 double chests) on a full load of sticks.
