DESCRIPTION:
In the summer of 2017, Dirty Cello toured the UK and Ireland performing 22 shows in 24 days. One of their performances was at the unusual and very eccentric Castle Ellen. Built in 1810, Castle Ellen boasted things like a sunken rockery, a dry moat, and a livestock tunnel under the Main Avenue. To enter Castle Ellen is like walking into a different place, like when Alice landed in Wonderland.

When they knocked on the door, they were greeted by an elderly man in a 3 piece suit who graciously welcomed them into his home. As they walked through the foyer, taxidermied birds loomed out of piles of antiques and historical collections ranging from old ties to a vintage piano. Before performing that night, Dirty Cello recorded and filmed a quick version of the song, Rose Tattoo by the Dropkick Murphys.
