DESCRIPTION:
I was on a 5 day kayaking expedition in the Discovery Islands with Wildcoast Adventures in August 2016 when we were lucky enough to come across three humpback whales. We were sitting the required 100 meters back watching them rest but then they dove and ended up breaching much closer to us. It was an incredible and unexpected experience.
