A quick Biography on Knuckle Sandwich: Flemington, New Jersey has never rocked so hard. Hailing from this small suburban town, Knuckle Sandwich which consists of Rich (vocals), Jason (guitar), Mike (bass), and Avi (drums) have made quite a name for themselves in the NY/NJ/PA music scene. The heavily talented foursome has drawn crowds of all ages throughout the Tri-state area playing their brilliant mix of hardcore/punk and still maintaining a unique sound. With several sold out shows under their belt they have built a following that grows with each and every performance. Knuckle Sandwich has released two demos Sucker Punch and Try the Punch independently on their label Punch Records and in 2001 signed on with Resurrection A.D. Records. Soon after they released their debut full length album Nice and Knuckle Sandwich embarked on their first tour, the From New York to California tour.

Their catchy, lyrics and unbelievable stage presence is what separates them from the rest. Their precise blend of hardcore vocals with a touch of good old rock-n-roll is ingenious and captivating. The energy Knuckle Sandwich expels during a live performance is another element unique to this band; it is safe to say keeping crowds happy is in their blood.

It is the same raw talent and contagious lyrics that has led Knuckle Sandwich to be nominated for two consecutive years for the Top Punk /Ska Band title at New Jerseys Asbury Music Awards. The band has also managed to have their music featured in various commercials and promotional ads for various skate, surf, and BMX companies. Their ubiquitous nature has earned them frequent airplay on XM radio and landed them a sponsorship deal with Inopia USA, a BMX sneaker company. Knuckle Sandwich Amber Waves of Green song was then used in an advertisement for Inopias footwear/apparel line. The highly notable Fuel Television Network has also included their video for American Song on their Split TV program. The band has recently written a significant amount of material for their follow-up to Nice.

Knuckle Sandwich has been featured in numerous industry publications such as the College Music Journal (CMJ), which deemed the music as pleasant buoyant pop punk thats fun to listen, pogo up and down and bob your head to. Maximum Rock & Roll Magazine has said the music is great, like a fucked up glam BAD RELIGION or DRUNK, or a nasty WESTON, with high energy choruses, hooks up the caboose, rock guitars and real singing vocals. However, the strong vocals, high energy, and signature sound of the band make the music speak for itself. *This video was not shot or edited by Ian Burns, but I was in it, hahaha!!!
