Puerto Rico Rob of Party Patrol Fame is in the building!!!

What Up My Space! For those who don't know, I go by the name of Puerto Rico Rob. I am a DJ and also the Director of the Rap Department at JIVE Records. It all started out in my beloved island of Puerto Rico, where I witnessed and was a part of the early stages of the Reggaeton Movement.



In 1997 I set out for New York looking to pick up some studio equipment. As fate will have it, I landed my first music industry job at LOUD Records and never returned. While at LOUD I got my game up, promoting artists such as; Mobb Deep, Big Pun (Rest In Peace), and Wu-Tang Clan among many others.



In 2002 with the demise of LOUD Records, I quickly moved on and joined the staff at Arista Records. There I worked with such notable acts as; Outkast, Usher, Clipse and The Neptunes. Then in 2004 it happened again. Arista merged with JIVE. I was approached by JIVE and the rest is history. R.Kelly, Justin Timberlake, T-Pain, Dre from Cool n Dre, Chris Brown, Ciara, Kelis are among some of the artists that I now have the pleasure of working with.



I am very passionate about my job and the music industry. Recently, I have started to branch out into the production field and you can listen to some of my work on this page. I will be posting my re-mixes, mash-ups and mixtape cuts. You will also hear the latest singles from JIVE Records and I will keep you informed of any upcoming events.
