In Chinese legend, the city of Fengdu is where all souls go to be judged. The person in charge of relocating the population of this city was convicted of embezzling 1.4 million dollars from the relocation fund and sentenced to death.

Город Фэнду («Город призраков») расположен в запаной части провинции Сычуань, на северном берегу реки Янцзы. Единственное в Китае высечнное из камня широко известное во всем мире место поклонения китайским духам.

Андрей Каскаадович серьезно увлекся электронной музыкой в 2005г., отдавая предпочтение драм'н'бейсу (Drumfunk, Neurofunk, Liquid funk..), но и обращая внимание на другие направления (2 Step, Ambient, Hip-Hop, IDM, Dubstep, Dub Techno, Trip-Hop..), что в результате находит отражение в его творчестве. Через два года Андрей начинает изучение музыкального софта, а так же теоретических основ качественного звучания и уже в 2008 г. выходит D'n'B релиз на Protogen Records (Germany). Далее Андрей под впечатлением творчества артистов: Burial, Kryptic Minds & Leon Switch, Reso, The SubDivision, TRG, Scuba, 2562, Riskotheque, Komonazmuk - погружается в написание глубоких и серьезных дабстеп композиций, в которых чувствуется влияние нейрофанка, транса, тустепа, брейкса, эмбиента и пр.. Различные треки Kaskaad'a звучат в dj-сетах и на радио шоу у Nick Argon (UK, Argon Radio), Kryptic Minds (UK, Defcom, Osiris Music, Swamp 81), The Subdivision (Paradise Lost Radio Sessions), BunZer0 (Sub Fm), Skrewface (SWE, Bass Punch recs), ReturnTrip (Japan), Cal Cutta's (USA, radiosdead.com), Robotic (Germany, FREAK CAMP RADIO), на Pyro Radio..

Paradise Lost Recs 005 - The Pluto EP

Paradise Lost Recordings continues to support new dubstep artists with another debut release by Kaskaad from Russia. Going from strength to strength, following on the introduction to the devastating duo from Finland, Vesicle, on the last release, Kaskaad brings a sound that is delicate, melodical, and deep.
