PRANKSTERS - *LIVING DISAST...

PRANKSTERS, was put together in 2003. Their first demo came out in 2004 and was reviewed by leading Danish music magazine “Gaffa” They called it pure punk-rock performed by experienced musicians.

After playing a lot of shows in Denmark, Sweden and Germany, “Dkbmotor” the biggest booking agency in Denmark asked PRANKSTERS to support Good Charlotte (US) in “Store Vega” Copenhagen in 2007.

This spring PRANKSTERS released their debut album “Living Disaster” on the Swedish label “Heptown Records”

In march 2008 Pranksters went on a Japanese tour where the band played 12 shows in 12 nights.

When Pranksters got home they got invited on the national Danish television show “GoMorgen Denmark” to talk about their Japanese tour.

After airplay on Danish radio, PRANKSTERS played a sold out concert in June 2008, with Flogging Molly (US) in “Store Vega” Copenhagen.

This fall the band went on another success full German tour.

On The 1/11 2008 PRANKSTERS supported The Casualties (US) in Copenhagen.

In the March 2009 edition of Nordic Tattoo Magazine there was a 4 page story about PRANKSTERS.

On vocal and guitar is Lars Hornehøj earlier front man in new-school punk band “Carpe diem”. On bass and backing vocal is Tim Kristensen founder of Psycho-Billy band Godless wicked creeps. He also has a psychotic past as songwriter and drummer in Nekromantix during the “Brought back to life” and “Demons are a girls best friend” era. Last but not least on drums Mikkel Pedersen who has played loads of ska and punk shows with his former bands Understudies, Kentucky Luckies and The Marvins.

All these things makes PRANKSTERS Denmark best punk-rock act ever.
