The room is small, even for a town home. What once was a closet now houses a brown corduroy La-Z-Boy and a small side-table. The walls have been retrofitted with memory foam, remnants of carpet and egg cartons. Except for the steady whirl of a ceiling fan, the room is almost completely silent. Some people might consider this cramped space a prison, but Arizona music producer Andrew Johnson, a.k.a Ref Beats calls it home.
