Pnutz & dissonance - A Sunday Morning Revolution - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 03, 2009
DESCRIPTION:
this is a track that dj Pnutz of San Diego produced. She sent this out to me...and I thought that this rhyme I wrote fit perfectly in the middle of this track.

Pnutz is a professor at the San Diego Turntable Institution, a very cool school that teaches djaying to people in the Southern California area. Give them a call, or find them on the web.

dissonance is not a professor (yet), but does teach people fairly on the regular. member of ThoughtControl, STD, and That's What She Said.

the lyrics are as follows:

the lyrics are:

I drop perspectives, like I drop egos at the door/
hit the floor running, and sunning like Ra, but what's more...
In store for those that suppose all they fucking know/
is all they need to know, so how you gonna grow?
Attitudes obsolete, I'll oppose them to my end/
mend words with rhythm hit'em till they start to comprehend.
Objective perspective? Couldn't be further from the truth/
debated and negated that premise, folly at its root.
The infrastructure constructed, the entire system busted/
afraid of my government cause those fuckers can't be trusted.
Rusted to the core, perpetual war machine set in motion/
like 1984, not the year... a crazy notion...
life would mimic text, got me thinking all this was a guise/
pulling the wool over your face so it seems a big surprise.
but its not a fucking surprise, it happened right before your eyes/
Gil-Scott knew what's up, this shit won't be televised....

omitted:
The revolution is NOW, bloodless or otherwise/
hip to the game, a lack of perspective is what I despise.
