DESCRIPTION:
Pimpadelic is a band that mothers love to hate in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area of Texas. The music Pimpadelic does cannot be played on regular radio stations because of the lyrics. The band is well known for having girls jump up on stage to expose their breasts to the club goers.
These photos were taken with my regular Canon EOS Rebel film camera. I sure wish the digital age would have been around then. There is several photos I could not include in this photo-video because of bare breasts.
The band was made up of Easy Jesus, Dirty K, Madison, E.J., D.J.M.I.A. and sometimes with Quincy "Q-Dog" Giggaines. On the "Statutory Rap" CD, my name is included in the credits in two different places.
Today the band has different members. Dirty K passed away on March 27, 2011. As far as I know the rest are still alive. The band formed in 1992 in Fort Worth. When I was writing about them, one of the bands favorite spots to play was Trees in the Deep Ellum section of Dallas. It was like a second home to me. Right before I moved up to Independence, Missouri in late May of 2000, I attended the video shoot of the band to promote their newest CD, "Southern Devils" which was on the Tommy Boy Records label. The first and second CDs were on the Crystal Clear Sound label. A couple of porn stars were brought in from Los Angeles, and some local girls were used besides a crowd of people to listen to them play on stage. It was fun times hanging out in the band room at Trees with them all and enjoying the music. !
