The Lab Los Angeles is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly post-work unwind where we stream only the finest American and international DJs, live and direct from our Downtown LA office. This Thursday, we hosted a pre-party ahead of Insomniac's Nocturnal Wonderland with Pig&Dan in The Lab LA.

After meeting for the first time on a flight to Spain back in 1999, Igor Tchkotoua and Dan Duncan came together to form what would eventually become the prolific, illustrious partnership that is Pig&Dan. Since, the duo have become a mainstay on the techno circuit with releases on Cocoon, Bedrock, Plus 8, Terminal M and collaborations with electronic's elite like John Digweed, Deadmau5, Underworld and more.

Pig&Dan also helm their own imprint ELEVATE, which houses an impressive roster including Monika Kruse, Alberto Ruiz, Steve Parker and Mark Reeve.

The Smirnoff Sound Collective is all about bringing fans closer to the DJs, providing up and coming talent with a solid platform and throwing unique events where fans and artists can party together.
