PUBLISHED:  Oct 01, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
This is a short video of Sahara Nights, the Studio-Live project launch that took place on June 6, 2012 at London's beloved Roundhouse. Featuring wonderful artists such as Saharawi singer and percussionist Aziza Brahim, Sahara Nights was a brilliant multi-arts events that showcased some of the most recent video and photography being done on Western Sahara together with outstanding performances and short stories by Mustapha Abdel Dayem, Saharawi ex-political prisoner.

Studio-Live is a music empowerment project being led by Sandblast with Fairtunes as a main partner. It aims to facilitate the development of a Saharawi music industry in the refugee camps based in SW Algeria.
