Peter Stroud's Pedalboard Project - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 05, 2015
DESCRIPTION:
For 2015, I've built a new pedalboard utilizing the fabulous GigRig G2 Switching System. This video boils down the hours into minutes...

May you not be mislead into thinking this is an easy one evening project...or even a weekend...In fact I quit counting the hours. It took a ton of thought, planning, patience and invaluable guidance from The GigRig founder/ creator Daniel Steinhardt, who drew up the plans and wiring diagram for the G2 switching system and his incredibly unique and easy to install power distribution system.

And thanks to the Lava cable kit and the GigRig modular power distribution, the project was almost entirely solderless. The new Lava Tightrope solderless cable and plugs are quick and easy to assemble and sound great. I couldn't imagine having to solder all of these dang patch cables.

Of all the switching system's I've used or found available, The GigRig G2 is no doubt the most well thought out, versatile, easy to use and bullet-proof pedalboard switching system available. It is total pro-grade. As the old worn out saying goes...you get what you pay for.

And while we're on the subject of easy and versatile...you can't get any easier than the Pedaltrain pedalboard. A total no brainer when it comes to arranging and changing out pedals.

Using two amps (built in iso-transformer and programmable phase reversal), switching the boost functions and tremolo on the amps. MIDI patch control of the Eventide ModFactor and TimeFactor pedals.
