This time we will continue our look at the Bongos, starting from the very beginning. Having become comfortable last time with the basic touch and accented tones on the smaller drum, we will expand out to longer accented patterns before moving on to incorporating the open tone on the larger drum. We will look at a simplified version of the rhythm called 'Martillo,' in Spanish, meaning the hammer. Unlike Tabla however, we do not tune them with a hammer!
