Pentridge - "still dreaming" betrayed 7/10.



"Pentridge have been steadily making a name for themselves over the last couple of years, with their heavily melodic take on hardcore and no-frills live show even securing the band a support slot on gorilla biscuits' 2008 tour. Still dreaming is the groups debut full length and while it's unlikely to win any points for originality, it does contain enough memorable riffs and catchy vocal passages to ensure that fans of the genre are kept happy. At 22 minutes in length it may feel as the album is over in the blink of an eye, but with highlights coming in the form of "the countdown" and the JJ peters (Deez Nuts) assisted "what it's like", it's a case of quality over quantity."
