Alfred 'Pee Wee' Ellis - Do Dee Dum Diddy (incredibly dirty sax solo) - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 09, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
I've been hooked on this song for quite a while and would like to share the sounds of this relatively overlooked musical legend - Mr Alfred 'Pee Wee' Ellis. From James Brown to Van Morrison via Leon Thomas, and a wealth of solo recordings - the inventor of 'Smunk' has plenty of great music to explore.

A Jazz outing, recorded in 1994 with Pee Wee on the Sax; Dwayne Dolphin on the Bass and Bruce Cox providing the percussion. Pee Wee's Tenor Sax solo is incredible!

Enjoy.
