The original version of the song "Gli occhi miei" ("My Eyes") was written by Mogol (lyrics) and Carlo Donida (music) and performed by Dino and Wilma Goich at the 1968 Sanremo Music Festival.
"Help Yourself" is the English adaptation of the original song recoreded and popularized in the same year by Tom Jones. The English lyrics bear no resemblance to the original Italian.
