DESCRIPTION:
Here is PATRICIO "EL CHINO" DIAZ with a track entitled "Ñongopat" inspired in a Bata rhythm called Ñongo. In this piece there is a repetitive pattern called "Changoclave", a special clave pattern that Patricio learned from his teacher José Luis Quintana "Changuito and that has a different rhythmic intention than the conventional clave. On top of this pattern Patricio plays a solo in 6/8 while the bass provides a cushion and harmonic structure.
