DJ KEV G

For many DJ's, spinning is a side job and music is a hobby. For Kev G, DJ’ing is his career and music is a way of life. With an underestimated talent and a knack for creativity, Kev G takes pride in being what he considers to be a "True DJ" destined to greatness.



Nicknamed the Party Rocka, music has been running through his veins since childhood when his great grandfather was a jazz musician. It was in the sixth grade when Kev G realized that his true calling was to be a DJ, after all of his classmates insisted that he bring his stereo and music collection to school to provide the entertainment for their class party. Despite hard times, determination is what enabled him to work full time and acquire his equipment piece by piece. Truly a gifted individual, Kev G taught himself how to DJ, cut and mix on his own, once all of the necessary tools were in his possession. Kev G credits a Memorial Day cookout/party in 1997 as a major breakthrough in his career. After unleashing his previously unknown skills, word of his ability to rock a party spread and and he became famed for entertaining a crowd, progressively being booked for parties, clubs and social events thereafter.



In 1999 Kev G became the hip-hop DJ at the CT hot spot Poly-Estas and brought an overflowing full house on a weekly basis for two years. With his unmatched creative style of hitting the turntable, DJ Kev G soon became the DJ of choice for various nightclubs, bars and entertainment functions including Club Malibu, where he packed a weekly full house of party goers every Saturday Night. In 2002 he was the first and only DJ from Connecticut to purchase and advertise himself on a billboard. From Springfield, MA to Waterbury, CT this DJ has made his mark.



Amongst his many ventures he has put out close to one hundred mix-tapes and mix-cd’s of his own, in addition to hosting numerous mix-tapes for up & coming artists throughout Connecticut.



With plans to expand his statewide success throughout the United States, Kev G takes pride in being not only a DJ but also as an inspiration to individuals to follow their dreams His combination of determination and skills have deservingly crowned him “Connecticut’s 1 Party Rocka.”
