DESCRIPTION:
The Wives performing an original song for their CD release party, entitled "Paper Doll" back in 1989. Raw footage taken on video by Greg Spencer, allowed to surface courtesy of Bill Baldwin. This was at Copperfield's in Syracuse NY. Vocals and lyrics by Elliott, music by Rob, Scott & Dan this is with members Jon and Tony on guitar and drums respectively. Shane Preston light show.

The Wives performed mainly original songs, all written by the band. They shared the stage with The Goo Goo Dolls, Lords of the New Church, The Godfathers, Manowar and many others. Near the end of the bands lifespan, they played gigs in Montreal, NJ and NYC including CBGB's, and Ron Woods club "Woody's". Mark Doyle produced a handful of songs on their single Cd "When Sanity Sleeps" on Blue Wave /Horizon Records owned by Greg Spencer who managed the band for a time. The band was based in Syracuse, N.Y.
