DESCRIPTION:
Orchestrated for Chinese pipa and strings, and conducted by Elvis Schoenberg, the Orchestre Surreal's rendition of the Hendrix classic was arranged by Ross Wright and Ken Rosser, and features the vocals of Angela Carole Brown AKA The Fabulous Miss Thing.

With a nod to Pan-Pacific minimalism, the photos are by Jean Marinelli, who just happens to also be principle French hornist in the Orchestre Surreal, shot during an Iowan hoar frost in the winter of 2010.
