The Church of Santa Maria la Real is located in the town of Gipuzkia near Azkoitia. Construction was started in the 16th century and was completed in the 17th century. The pipe organ at Iglesia de Santa Maria la Real in Azkoitia in the Basque region of Spain was built by the Cavaille-Coll firm in 1898. It was one of the last pipe organs built by that firm before Cavaille-Coll died in 1899. In this video the organist Jose Luis Franzesena improvises on a number of folk tunes from the region. The organ has three manuals, and 40 stops.
