In January 2007 Mucky Star by Elektrochemie, the production alias of Thomas Schumacher, Stephan Bodzin and vocalist Caitlin Devlin, was released.

The title track Mucky Star sees Schumacher and Bodzin lay down jacking metallic rhythms and building, hypnotic chords, but as the throbbing groove increases in intensity, Caitlin's coquettish vocals seduce the listener. It's like been punched by an iron fist wrapped in a velvet glove.
